Our First Annual Fundraiser, Spices of Life, will take place on February 6, 2016 from 7pm to 10pm. There will be food representing the peoples of four district regions/states of India, as well as music, Indian folk dancing, and henna artists. We will also have a bazaar where you can purchase jewelry, clothing, tea, scarves, spices and other items from India.

The event will take place at the Centro Asturiano de Tampa which is located at 1913 North Nebraska Avenue Tampa, FL.

We are offering multiple sponsorship options to support Project Starfish! This will be your opportunity to connect with a new audience, while also supporting a wonderful cause. Project Starfish has no paid employees and is sustainable only through private donations

Saffron – $1500

• Full page ad in in the Spices of Life program

Cardamom – $1000

• 1/2 page ad in in the Spices of Life program

Turmeric – $500

• 1/4 page ad in in the Spices of Life program
• 4 complimentary tickets to the event

Clove – $250

• Business card sized ad in in the Spices of Life program
• 2 complimentary tickets to the event
• “Thank you” post on our Facebook page with your logo and a link to a webpage of your choice

Corporate Sponsors:  Please fill out and submit the Sponsorship form. We will reply with further details regarding sending us a logo and the ad that will be placed in the Spices of Life program.

We are requesting sponsors send a check or money order payable to Project Starfish, c/o Kathryn Kepes, 4503 Country Gate Court, Valrico, FL  33596.

Personal Sponsors: If you don’t have an organization that could buy a sponsorship, you can do so personally and you will be recognized. You can also get friends and/or relatives to create a fund and sign up as “Friends and Family of John Smith”, “The Smith Family”, “In Memory of Jane Smith” or the like. If you have reached a specific sponsorship level please fill out and submit the Sponsorship form. Instead of “company/organization” you can use the name of your fund. The donation as a tax deduction, however, can only go to one person, which will be listed as your representative. We will reply with further details regarding sending us an image in lieu of a logo, and the “ad” that will be placed in the Spices of Life program.

All information for corporate and personal sponsorships need to be turned in no later than January 17 in order for your ad to appear in the Spices of Life program.

Individual Tickets: $25 per ticket – Please enter your phone number and the full name of each person you are purchasing a ticket for (including yourself, if applicable,) before clicking the “Buy now” button. You will be able to enter the number of tickets you are purchasing after clicking the button. We look forward to welcoming you and your guests at the event.

A question you may be asking is, “Why India?” Perhaps the Dalai Lama said it best: “The people of one nation must consider the people of other nations to be like brothers and sisters who deserve progress for their homelands.” Now I answer, “Why not India? We are but one family.”
