Daughters of Mary Orphanage

These beautiful children are orphans run by the Daughters of Mary. There are 40 boys and girls whose accommodations are “wards.” They are supported by the farming efforts of the Sisters, the government, and private donations. We gave them a supply of over-the-counter drugs and toothbrushes and coloring books we had brought. We have just added a new dimension to Project Starfish…I was told only half of the children have shoes – but not for long?
