Last Wednesday, August 19, Project Starfish was invited by the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce to participate in a panel of four non profits whose primary efforts are in India. They included Heartbeat International, Khushi Hona, and Dream India Network – all very worthy causes. I would like to thank Amit Patel for his organizational skills and Roshni Hannon for her excellence in moderating the group. I commend her ability to keep our introductions to five minutes when all of us could have passionately spoken for 2-3 hours about our NGOs. It was wonderful to hear what is happening in the world to help the underserved as it demonstrated that humankind isn’t so bad after all.
