DONATE YOUR TIME:
We welcome the participation of all medical and health care professionals — primary care care (including family practice, internal medicine, emergency room) and pediatric physicians, nurses, physicians assistant, advanced practice registered nurses, nursing students, pharmacists, and dietitians — and we urge you to donate your time and expertise to our cause. This mission is indeed a life-altering experience. We also call on non-professionals to both volunteer their time for non-medical/administrative duties and to staff our events. Needed personnel include :
- Ongoing sponsors to ensure the sustainability of Project Starfish
- Individuals or corporations that would sponsor fundraising events for Project Starfish
- Individuals who could help us with grant writing

DONATE RESOURCES:
Project Starfish depends on outside donations for medications, equipment and supplies, advertising, and, most importantly, human resources. If you are a decision maker with your hospital or organization who can help donate equipment and supplies…we need your help. In order to make Project Starfish sustainable, we need to obtain equipment and replenish our supplies — and we appeal to corporate sponsors for their generous donations. In-kind donations from healthcare facilities, such as hospitals or medical supply vendors, are greatly appreciated! Our Wish List includes the following:
- General clinical supplies
- Mammography unit
- CT scanner
- ICU ventilator
- Cardiac monitors
- Pulse oximeters
- EKG machines
A donation can be made by supplying the equipment (which is usually refurbished) and a collaborative effort would be made by Project Starfish, Holy Cross Hospital, and other donors to ship the equipment to India. Holy Cross Hospital has received containers with medical equipment and supplies in the past and is well aware of the process. Of course, funds can be donated to Project Starfish and specifically tagged for any of the items listed above. Holy Cross Hospital is a non-profit hospital that administers care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We have personally witnessed this commitment, which is why we support their many needs.
