Nepal Earthquake

A group of us were planning to take a tour of Nepal after camps on May 4th. Many of our families were calling and texting to be sure we weren’t in or around Kathmandu and were thankful we are still in Nagercoil. That said, the latest toll is 1500 dead, not to mention the devastation, including historic monuments. Our hearts go out to Nepal and its citizens and tourists who were affected by this natural disaster. We feel a special closeness to the country as the earthquake impacted cities in Northern India and had this occurred one week later we would have been there.
